If you’re on the fence about signing up for this radness, consider this:
Saturday a whole mess of the Mendocino Coast Cycling club will be out riding their 150+ miles of singletrack in the woods.
Cool coast breezes and temps in the low 70′s will be a welcome change from the baking heat of the Sierras and inland areas. Avoid the crowds!
Rides will be going all day long. Check back here in a day or two for directions to the trailhead and more info.
Come out and see the sweet, succulent Mendocino singletrack you’ve been hearing so much about. Remember, we’ve got free camping all weekend so come up early and kick it with the locals and see miles and miles of new trails!
Which Sat./what’s the date on this pre-ride? Will there be ride leaders who know the trails/trail system?
Thanks.
There’s no pre-ride of the race course… the Singletrack Saturday is June 23rd and is on a different trail system from the race. The guides do know the local trail system for Saturday though, they are the local cycling club.
Thanks, Not Murphy Mack! Are the trails the local club will lead us on “as good as”, or a good sampling of the singletrack, and great trails on this property/in this area?
Thank you,
Logan

The Saturday ride and Sunday rides are nearby but not the same place. One is N of Ft Bragg, the other S. You should expect the Saturday singletrack to be amazing.
